The borough of Quakertown in Bucks County is home to approximately 9,350 people. The original settlers of the area were the Quakers, hence the name. Quakertown borders the metropolitan areas of Lehigh and Delaware Valleys. During the 18th century, it was the overnight home to the Liberty Bell as the bell made its way from Philadelphia to Allentown. After the Civil War, the area started shifting from a small village into a larger manufacturing center, becoming home to silk mills, cigar box factories, and more.

Main Street Gallery, Jim Lukens — Jim Lukens is a landscape painter from Pennsylvania specializing in the Impressionist style. His paintings are on display at this gallery, alongside the works of other local artists. 

Quakertown Memorial Park — Explore 110 acres of the outdoors or flex your athletic skills on one of the tennis, basketball, or sand volleyball courts. The park is also home to a historic baseball stadium and three pavilions that are open to the public.  

Liberty Hall — Stop by 1237 W Broad Street to get up close to a fun slice of history. This location is the supposed place where the Liberty Bell was kept overnight during its journey from Philadelphia to Allentown during the Revolutionary War. It also became the first permanent building in town, dating back to 1772.
