Coldwell Banker Hearthside and Peoples Security Bank & Trust unite to honor employees and agents who have faced breast cancer, along with company co-owner Robin Mancuso DeLuna.

BUCKINGHAM, Pa., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — A longstanding commitment to local relationships has brought together two Pennsylvania businesses for a meaningful cause. Coldwell Banker Hearthside, a family-owned real estate brokerage headquartered in Newtown, and Peoples Security Bank & Trust, an independent community bank, have joined forces to donate $20,000 to Kin Wellness and Support Center, supporting individuals and families affected by cancer throughout Bucks County.

The partnership began with a personal gesture from Peoples Security Bank & Trust, whose representatives were moved by the strength and resilience of Robin Mancuso DeLuna, co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of Coldwell Banker Hearthside, as she continued leading the family business following her breast cancer diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Recognizing Robin’s determination and the challenges she was facing, the bank offered to make a $10,000 charitable contribution in her honor as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. When sibling co-owners Jamie Mancuso, CEO, and Robin Mancuso DeLuna learned of the bank’s generosity, Hearthside decided to match the $10,000 contribution, bringing the total donation to $20,000.

But what began as a gesture of support for one local business leader soon became something larger.

Earlier this month, Robin shared her diagnosis with the company’s agents and employees, hoping her experience would encourage others to prioritize their health and keep up with recommended cancer screenings.

The response surprised her.

Colleagues began to reach out privately to share their own experiences with breast cancer. Some had faced the disease years earlier, while others were navigating their own journeys more recently. Their conversations reminded Robin that even within a close-knit company, people may be carrying personal challenges that those around them know little about. Robin asked that the company’s $10,000 gift be made in honor of the agents and employees who had faced breast cancer themselves.

“I wrote to our company thinking I was the one with something to tell,” said Mancuso DeLuna. “Then, one by one, people began to seek me out, sharing, ‘I’ve been there too.’ They had carried this quietly, through showings and closings and everything else, often without the people around them knowing. This touched me profoundly. I wanted our company’s gift to honor their strength and experiences, too.”

For the Mancuso family, the opportunity reflected the values that have guided their business for more than three decades: relationships, family and a commitment to the communities they serve.

“One of the things that makes doing business locally so special is the relationships you build along the way,” said Jamie Mancuso. “Peoples Security Bank & Trust didn’t have to do this. They saw what Robin was going through, recognized the strength she continued to show, and wanted to do something meaningful. That kind of personal connection means a great deal to our family. I’ve known the Transue family most of my life, and Kin was inspired by Corinne’s vision. Being able to honor my sister, our Hearthside family and the memory of someone whose family I’ve known for so long through the same gift made it especially meaningful.”

The contribution from Peoples Security Bank & Trust was coordinated through Jolene Zimmerman, Vice President and Senior Cash Management Sales Officer, and Ian Matlack, Senior Vice President and Greater Delaware Valley Market President.

“Robin and her company are valued clients, and we are honored to support Kin in Robin’s name during Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said Matlack. “Kin is doing meaningful work in this community for individuals and families affected by cancer.”

Kin opened its doors in December 2021 and is in its fifth year of service. The center provides free, nonmedical wellness and support services to Bucks County residents affected by cancer, including patients, survivors, caregivers and oncology healthcare workers. Kin was inspired by Corinne Transue Sikora, a Bucks County resident who passed away in 2020 after battling breast and brain cancer. Corinne envisioned a place where people facing cancer could find care, comfort and community close to home.

For individuals navigating a cancer diagnosis, the physical and emotional challenges often extend well beyond medical appointments. Patients may face fatigue, anxiety, isolation and disruptions to their everyday lives. Caregivers and family members can experience similar pressures while supporting their loved ones. Kin offers services such as oncology massage, yoga, fitness classes, meditation, support groups and other integrative wellness programs to help address those needs.

“We are grateful beyond words,” said Keith Fenimore, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Kin Wellness and Support Center. “Our work is funded entirely by this community, and gifts like these are what let us keep every service free for every guest who walks through our door.”

Mancuso DeLuna, who remains in treatment and continues to work full time, said she hopes the gift encourages others to act. “If you are due for a mammogram, schedule it. My cancer was caught early because I kept my appointments, and early is everything. And if you are able to give blood, please do. I am here in part because a stranger did.”
