Neighborhood Spotlight: Penns Park, PA

Penns Parks was founded in the early 18th century (although it didn’t get the name Penns Park until 1862). It is the oldest village in Wrightstown Township. The Crossroads Village rests a short drive away from Trenton, NJ, and Newton, PA. In 1716 it was Logtown, changing to Pennsville in the early 19th century. A single-log home in the area is said to be the oldest house in Bucks County. There are also two places listed on the National Register of Historic Places — Penns Park Historic District and Penn’s Park General Store Complex. 

 

The Vibe 

When you step into Penns Park, you get the vibe of a small town in the 18th century with its traditional layout and architecture. The historic district features over 30 buildings, and you’ll find a mix of old and new things to do. A short trip to nearby larger towns makes this the perfect spot for relishing in small-town comfort while getting to enjoy city life.
